Transportation in Japan

In the past, Japanese traveled on foot until 19 century. There are the first railway which was built between Tokyo and Yamaha. The
transportation in Japan was improved to be good but the road was not improved too much. Because Japan has so many population, and there are limited area to use. Therefore, railway is the best way for Japanese to travel in Japan.

The other choice for people is Shinkansem. It is the high speed train which known as bullet train. The fastest shinkansen train which has a maximum speed of 300 km/h was called "Nozomi". There are about 250 shinkansen train operate everyday. Moreover, it has never been late.

The transportation in Japan is really good. I think that Thailand should improve the transportation to be better than now. It will easier to travel from one place to another place in rush hours.

Fuji Mountain

Fuji Mountain is the highest mountain in Japan. If we talked about Japan, everyone must consider to Fuji Mountain. It is a symbol of Japan. It is frequently depicted in art and photographs. This mountain is covered by snow all years. In English, the mountain is not only called Mount Fuji, but is also known by the native Japanese Fujiyama and Fuji-san.
Mt. Fuji is an attractive volcanic cone. It is a really beautiful mountain in Japan. In many picture of Japan always have Fuji Mountain in it. July and August are the official climbing season.. During these two months the mountain is usually free of snow.The travelers always climb the mountain at night because they will see the sun rising when they arrive the top of the mountain.

The Fuji Mountain is very famous mountain of Japan. It is an interesting attraction.If I go to Japan, I will go to Fuji Mountain. It must be a woderful place.

A Good Plan

Rakuten's all-English edict a bold move, but risky too

Internet shopping mall operator Rakuten Inc. will make English to be office language by 2010.President Hiroshi Mikitani though English was important to grow his company. He told that board members who can't speak English in two years will be fired. Then all meeting will be English.He wanted his employee use English to speak in the offife too. He changed many things in the office to be English. Also,Cafeteria menus are now in English.

I partly agree with Rakuten President Hiroshi Mikitani's move (to make English the company's official language by 2012).I agree with his plan to give employees a period to learn English and to fire those who can't speak it. I feel his zeal. I think he wants to change the atmosphere for employees and arouse their competitive spirit. English is important to use in every company. Many countries use English to contact the business so it is good to have employees proficient in English. Although this plan may risk to use ,but it can motivate the employees to improve their English skill.If it was succeeded, it will be good to the bussiness.

Sad News

I read Japan news on the internet and I found news about Japanese student. The topic is “English teacher used 'hangman'-like game at school where student hung himself” I think it is very large problem that the student killed himself. I feel sad with this news. Nobody knew about the cause of suicide but the way that makes he die is hanging. His parent found paper which has a picture of a person being hang (a la the game "Hangman"). Then his parent told that this kind of teaching was a problem.
In my opinion, the game may have a picture of hanging. On the other hands, the student may have the problem in his mind. The picture in the game told only the way how to suicide. I think it doesn’t because of the game that makes the student suicide but it comes from himself. If the teacher didn’t use this game in class, student might kill himself by other way.

Baseball

Although Sumo is the national sport of Japan but the popular sport of Japan is baseball. I always see baseball in the most of Japanese cartoon. It looks interesting. I have ever played softball at school.Softball is very similar to baseball. It was very fun.

Baseball is a complex game. There are many, many more rules than the ones below, and exceptions to just about every one of them.

A baseball game is played by two teams who alternate between offense and defense. There are nine players on each side. The goal is to score more runs than the opponent, which is achieved by one circuit of four bases that are placed on the diamond.

I think baseball is a really good sport. At school, I like to play this sport very much. Even if, it is not popular in Thailand but it is an interesting sport. If I don’t learn in bilingual school, I may not have chance to play this sport. I thing it should have this sport in club of school. It must be fun.

Japan's National Sport

Sumo is a Japan's national sport. If someone says about Japan's sport, most of people will say about the Sumo. Sumo is a style of wrestling. I think it looks softer than Western wrestling. It is an original sport of Japan.

The rules of sumo are very simple compared with those of Western wrestling. There are 70 basic fighting techniques, the wrestlers fight to push the opponent out of the ring or make any part of his body, other than the feet, touch the ground. Matches last from a few seconds to a few minutes. If no decision is reached within five minutes of fighting time, a three- or four-minute extension is allowed. If there is no decision at the end of the overtime, the wrestlers must start all over again after another two bouts. Such marathon matches are rare, occurring only a few times a year.

I think this sport looks very easy to play but it must use much of power to wrest. The wrester must have strong body. I have ever seen Sumo in youtube and I think every wrester has very large body. They must have a lot of weight. If I played Sumo with a Sumo professional, I would die in a few second. It looks awesome. ~o~

Japan is a wonderful country. It is the country that I want to go very much. There are many interesting thing such as food, technology, cartoon etc.Japanese food is my favorite food. It is very delicious. I always see TV program which traveling to Japan. I saw many places in Japan. It is a really beautiful country.
